Getting started
Do I need an account?
No. QR codes, image tools, formatters, and generators all work without signing in. An account is only needed if you want click tracking on short links, dynamic QR codes, and history that syncs across your devices.
How do I shorten a link?
Open the Link Shortener, paste your URL, and click Shorten. In the Chrome extension, you can also right-click any link or page and choose “Shorten this link” — the short URL is copied to your clipboard automatically.
How do I create a QR code?
Use the QR Code Generator, enter a URL or text, and customize it. From your dashboard you can download the QR for any short link or dynamic QR as PNG or SVG.

How do I sign in on the extension?
First sign in on metoolzy.com. Then open the extension popup and it will detect your session automatically. If it doesn’t, click “Check login status”.
The extension says I’m not logged in
Make sure you’re signed in on metoolzy.com in the same browser, then reopen the popup and click “Check login status”. If it still fails, sign out and back in on the website, or reload the extension from chrome://extensions.
Where is my link history?
The extension’s History tab shows your account links when you’re signed in, or links you created locally on this device when you’re not.
Privacy & data
Most tools run entirely in your browser — your files and text are never uploaded. Generated QR images are not stored on our servers; they are recreated from your content on demand. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
