เกี่ยวกับ Barcode Generator
The Barcode Generator creates high-quality barcodes in seven industry-standard formats — Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 39, ITF-14, MSI, and Pharmacode — and exports them as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, or print-ready PDF. Barcodes are essential for product labelling, inventory management, retail point-of-sale systems, shipping labels, healthcare, and library cataloguing. Code 128 supports the full ASCII character set and is widely used in logistics and warehousing. EAN-13 and UPC-A are the global retail product standards you see on nearly every consumer product. This tool also supports batch generation — paste a list of values (or import a CSV/Excel file) to generate dozens of barcodes at once, preview them in a grid, and download everything as a ZIP archive or print directly on A4-formatted sheets.
วิธีใช้ Barcode Generator
- Choose a barcode format that matches your use case — Code 128 for general text, EAN-13 for retail products, UPC-A for North American retail, Code 39 for industrial labelling.
- In Single mode, type your value in the input field. The barcode renders instantly below.
- Use the PNG and SVG buttons to download a single barcode in your preferred format.
- Switch to Batch mode and enter one value per line (or import a CSV/TXT/Excel file) to generate many barcodes at once.
- Click Generate to process all values, then use the Download buttons to save as a ZIP of PNG or SVG files, or export as a multi-page PDF.
- Use the Print button to open a browser print dialog with an optimised A4 grid layout ready for label sheets.
คำถามที่พบบ่อย
Which barcode format should I use for retail products?
Use EAN-13 for products sold internationally and UPC-A for products sold primarily in North America and Canada. Both require a registered GS1 company prefix to ensure globally unique barcodes. Code 128 is appropriate for internal inventory tracking where global uniqueness is not required.
What is the difference between SVG and PNG output?
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is resolution-independent — it can be scaled to any size without pixelation, making it ideal for professional print production. PNG is a raster format at 2× resolution for sharp printing at standard label sizes. Use SVG when sending files to a print shop and PNG for quick digital use.
How do I generate an EAN-13 barcode?
EAN-13 barcodes require exactly 13 digits. The last digit is a check digit calculated from the first 12. If you enter 12 digits, the tool calculates the check digit automatically. You can verify your product's barcode using the GS1 check digit calculator.
Can I generate barcodes in bulk from a spreadsheet?
Yes — use the Import button to upload a .xlsx or .xls Excel file, or a .csv or .txt file. The tool reads all cell values from the first sheet and populates the batch list. You can then generate all barcodes and download them as a ZIP archive.
Are the generated barcodes scannable by real scanners?
Yes — barcodes are generated using the JsBarcode library following industry specifications. They are tested to be scannable by standard barcode readers. For retail use, ensure your product data is registered with GS1 and that the printed barcode meets minimum size requirements (EAN-13: minimum 26.26 mm wide).
