What Markdown syntax is supported?
The converter uses the Marked library and supports the full GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) specification: headings (H1–H6), bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, fenced code blocks with language classes, blockquotes, ordered and unordered lists, task lists (checkboxes), pipe tables, horizontal rules, images, and hyperlinks.
How does the PDF export work?
When you click "Download PDF", the tool creates a fully styled HTML document with print-optimized CSS (@page rules for margins and size, page-break hints for code blocks and tables) and opens your browser's print dialog. Select "Save as PDF" as the printer to download the file. This produces the highest-quality PDF output possible.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. All Markdown parsing and PDF generation happen entirely in your browser. Your text never leaves your device, making it safe for private, sensitive, or confidential content.
What is the difference between A4 and Letter?
A4 (210 × 297 mm) is the standard paper size used internationally. Letter (8.5 × 11 in / 216 × 279 mm) is the standard in the United States and Canada. Choose the size that matches your region or printing requirements.
Can I use this for README files?
Yes. Copy your GitHub README.md content into the editor and download it as a PDF. All GFM-specific features like task lists and tables are fully supported.
Why does the PDF open a print dialog instead of downloading directly?
