About PDF Split
PDF Split gives you precise control over which pages to keep from any PDF document, all processed directly in your browser without uploading anything to a server. Whether you want to extract a single chapter from a lengthy report, pull out specific invoice pages, or separate a scanned booklet into individual leaves, this tool makes it straightforward. Upload your PDF and you will immediately see the total page count. You can then type a page range using familiar notation — for example "1-3, 5, 8-10" — or click individual page number buttons to toggle them on or off. The selected pages are then compiled into a new PDF and downloaded to your device. The original file is never modified, so you can run multiple extractions in a single session without worry.
How to Use PDF Split

- Click "Extract & Download" to save the selected pages as a new PDF file.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I extract non-contiguous pages like 1, 5, and 9?
Yes. In the range field, separate individual pages with commas: "1, 5, 9". You can mix ranges and single numbers freely.
Does this work without an internet connection?
Once the page has loaded in your browser, the tool works fully offline because all processing is local.
Will the extracted PDF keep the original formatting?
Yes. Each page is copied verbatim from the source, preserving fonts, images, and layout exactly.
Can I extract all pages at once?
All pages are selected by default when you open a file. You can simply click "Extract & Download" to create an identical copy.
What happens to the original file?
The original is never modified or deleted. The extraction creates a brand-new PDF file that is downloaded to your computer.
