Giới thiệu về Sitemap Generator

The XML Sitemap Generator creates a standards-compliant sitemap.xml file that tells search engines which pages on your website exist, when they were last modified, how frequently they change, and their relative priority. Submitting a sitemap to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools ensures that all your important pages get discovered and indexed — even deep pages that might not receive many inbound links. A sitemap is especially important for large sites, new sites with few external links, sites with rich media or complex navigation, or sites with pages that change frequently. This tool supports both manual URL entry and bulk paste mode, letting you add dozens of URLs at once with per-URL control over priority (0.1–1.0) and change frequency (always, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, never).

Làm sao để Sitemap Generator?

  1. Choose Manual mode to add URLs one by one, or Bulk Paste mode to paste a list of URLs (one per line).
  2. In Manual mode, enter each page URL, set its crawl priority (1.0 = highest, 0.1 = lowest), and choose how often the content changes.
  3. Add all important pages — homepage, product pages, blog posts, category pages — but exclude login, cart, and duplicate pages.
  4. Review the live XML preview on the right to verify your sitemap looks correct.
  5. Click Copy to clipboard or Download .xml to save the file.
  6. Upload sitemap.xml to your website root and submit its URL in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

Câu hỏi thường gặp

What is the maximum number of URLs allowed in a sitemap?

The Sitemaps protocol allows up to 50,000 URLs per file with a maximum file size of 50 MB uncompressed. For larger sites, you can create multiple sitemap files and reference them from a sitemap index file.

What priority value should I set for different pages?

Priority 1.0 is typically reserved for the homepage and most important landing pages. Category or section pages usually get 0.8, blog posts and articles 0.6-0.7, and less important pages 0.3-0.5. Priority is relative within your own site and is only a hint — search engines may ignore it.

How does the changefreq tag affect crawling?

The changefreq tag suggests how often a page's content changes. Values range from always (e.g. real-time feeds) to never (archived content). Search engines use this as a hint but may crawl more or less frequently based on their own signals about how often your content actually changes.

Do I need to include every page in my sitemap?

No — you should only include canonical, indexable pages. Exclude pages with noindex meta tags, pages blocked by robots.txt, redirect URLs, duplicate pages, login/checkout pages, and any pages with thin or low-quality content.

How do I submit my sitemap to Google?

Log in to Google Search Console, select your property, go to Sitemaps in the left sidebar, enter the URL of your sitemap (e.g. https://example.com/sitemap.xml), and click Submit. You can also add a Sitemap: directive to your robots.txt file for automatic discovery by all crawlers.
